Terms including “evidence-based” adopts definitions under section 8101 of the Elementary and Secondary Education Act of 1965. Authorizes a number of pilot programs between public schools and public health agencies. Establishes an interagency task force that identifies evidence-based, evidence-informed, and promising practices to address synthetic opioid misuse and overdose in youth. Reserves 5% of funds to conduct a rigorous, independent evaluation of all funded activities and provide technical assistance to grantees.
